This is an introductory course on watercolor painting. We will explore the craft of watercolor painting through the exploration of materials, mediums, technique, and the craft of watercolor painting through time in art-historical contexts. This course will include individualized instruction, classroom discussion/critiques, group projects, and weekly take-home assignments. This class is open to students of all levels of experience.

Ashley Wick’s experience includes teaching art at a community center in Massachusetts and at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
