CLASSROOM COURSE (NOME): In this course, we explore the crafts of poetry and prose. We will explore our memories while we discover how to validate our experiences through writing about them. We will read examples and identify elements of craft. We will examine our own experiences to highlight themes and perspectives, considering approaches to poetry and prose.

Kristine McRae and Marie Tozier are recent graduates of the low-residency master of fine arts program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Kristine owns Bering Tea & Coffee, and Marie is the registration coordinator at Northwest Campus.
