I Know I Can - Savoonga PDF Print E-mail
Savoonga School IKIC

On November 14, Savoonga second graders participated in the first Savoonga I Know I Can event! UAF- Northwest Campus Academic Advisor Annie Kokeok spent the morning with the students, talking about plans after high school and discussing the importance of staying in school and working hard.

Students then shared their dreams for the future on “I Know I Can” postcards.

The postcards were collected from the students and will be mailed back to the students in three years as a reminder of the activity and their future goals. All students were given their own copy of "I Know I Can" at the end of the event!

A big thank you to the “I Know I Can” Program, Savoonga School and the parents of the students. This terrific effort has Savoonga students saying “I Know I Can!”
