Does the email ask you for your ID / password?

  • If so, then the email is probably a scam.
  • The University with never ask for your username and password verification in an email.
  • If you think your have an email that is a scam, please report it as phishing.
  • Phishing is an attempt to acquire sensitive user information, e.g. usernames and passwords.

If you feel your security has been compromised:

Report the email as phishing

  • On the suspicious email, click on the drop down arrow on the upper right hand side and select Report phishing (shown below)
